Renaissance fair @ SHSID

During CAS on November 23, SHSID students from 9th grade to 12th grade travelled back through time to the Renaissance. In just a short period of time, XMT was completely transformed from the conventional high school building into a lavish Renaissance Fair. Students dressed up in clothing that took everyone back to the ages with timeless grace and beauty. They walked around classrooms and hallways, where small booths set up by various clubs were waiting for them, including freshly baked cookies, a captivating fortune telling stand and some Renaissance history trivia. In addition, the sonnet competition and performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream celebrated the Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary and also elevated the artistic atmosphere of the fair. A period of abundant art and literature works was once again revived in this wonderful afternoon.
