Pen Pal Letters

Our grade 2 students received their pen pal letters from the second graders in Thales Academy in North Carolina at the beginning of January, 2013. What a big surprise!

Everyone opened the envelope carefully and read the letter eagerly. Their pen pals introduced themselves, their school and their life. What made them excited was that their pen pals had put a picture in the letter.

Our second graders started to write their reply letters right after learning the correct format. They talked about their life, their school and their hobbies. They also answered the questions their pen pals asked. Some students drew very beautiful pictures for their pen pals as well.

All second grader hoped that their pen pals can receive their reply letters as soon as possible.
