The Graduation Ceremony for Class of 2012

On June 9th, 2012, the graduation ceremony for Class of 2012 was held at the school auditorium.

Attendants of this graduation ceremony were Principal TANG Shengchang, Vice Principal LI Ying, Vice Chief Director WANG Nianzu, Director LIU Lian, Director MA Feng and Conselor ZHU Zhenyi, and all parents.

Around 8 o'clock, guided by volunteers, parents entered the auditorium. At 9:00, the whole auditorium was full. With Mr. MA's official announcement of the opening of the graduation ceremony, 266 graduates, wearing the graduation gowns, came into the auditorium, surrounded by the applauds from all parents and teachers.

Principal Li delivered a speech to review all the achievements made by students from Class of 2012. She also sent her best wishes to all graduates. Afterwards, students came onto the stage to be awarded the diploma by both Principals and Directors. Students were very excited and they also understood the meaning of this diploma --- they all grew up.

Xue Ying Hwang and Jung Dong, student representitives,and ELISE RAE PI's mother, delivered speeches to send their best wishes to all students. A wide range of awards were also announced at the graduation ceremony, including Awards for Excellence in Sports, Awards for Good Behaviour, Awards for Social Activities, Awards for Rapid Progress, Awards for Good Study and Awards for Excellent Study. Class prizes were also awarded. Silver Award of this year was given to Yuka Mochizuki from Class 12(7), who had excellent performance in Shangzhong Cup Piano Competition for three years; Golden Award was given to Yi Kai Ma from Class 12(1) for she got the full mark in TOEFL, breaking the school record. Principal Li awarded them with certificates.

By the end of the graduation ceremony, Principal TANG sent his best wishes to graduates. Xue Ying Hwang and I-Jou Hsu, on behalf of all students, presented the school with a graduation gift.

The music, "I'll Remember You", was being played. All graduates stood up and sang the song to recall all their best memories at SHSID and showed their gratitude to the teachers, parents, and their friends. With Mr MA's words of "Happy graduation and good luck", all graduation hat were being highly thrown. Goodbye, graduates! We wish you all the very best!
