On the afternoon of December 27th, Shanghai High School International Division held its 30th Anniversary Alumni Reunion Day event. Alumni from various graduating classes, hailing from all corners of the globe, gathered at their alma mater to collectively celebrate this unforgettable moment. At the event venue, precious footage from the alumni's school days and group photos taken during the past year's return visits were continuously displayed. Accompanied by heartwarming music, as the alumni stepped into the Xianmian Building, it was as if they had traversed through time, with memories of the past resurfacing vividly in their minds.

Upon entering the familiar campus, alumni signed in, wrote down their names, and received carefully prepared mementos and alumni badges from the school. These small gifts are not only a heartfelt blessing to the alumni but also a testimony to the youthful years they spent at their alma mater. In this event, more than 400 alumni from various graduating classes registered to return to school, and many of them came with their families and children, adding a sense of warmth and happiness to the venue, making it a truly heartwarming and joyful gathering of the SHSID family.

Later, everyone gathered at the Auditorium of Xianmian Building. Mr. Feng Zhigang, Principal of Shanghai High School, Mr. Ma Feng, High School Principal of SHSID, and Mr. Liu Lian, Middle and Primary School Principal of SHSID, along with representative teachers, came to the scene together to celebrate this joyful moment with everyone. Principal Feng delivered a speech, warmly welcoming all the alumni back home. He reviewed the illustrious history of the alma mater and outlined the blueprint for future development, leaving the alumni in attendance with a deep sense of pride. Applause and laughter echoed throughout the auditorium, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Alumni representatives also took the stage one after another to give speeches, sharing their personal growth experiences and expressing gratitude to their alma mater. From the earliest alumni of the Class of 2002 to the most recent graduates of the Class of 2023, everyone conveyed their deep affection and gratitude for the school. Although some alumni couldn't physically return to the alma mater, they also participated in the interaction through online meetings, offering their warmest wishes and fond memories to the school.

Alumni reuniting with their teachers felt a deep sense of warmth. Teacher representatives also took the stage to speak, fondly recalling past moments and offering heartfelt blessings to the alumni. The entire event was filled with warmth and emotion as alumni collectively reminisced about the beautiful times spent at their alma mater. They also extended their sincerest wishes for the future development of the school.

In various classrooms of Xianmian Building, alumni met and engaged in lively discussions and exchanges with familiar teachers and classmates, reviewing precious moments spent together at SHSID. They shared their current situations and achievements, discussing future developments and endless possibilities.

Campus check-ins became a major highlight of the event. Alumni took commemorative photos at iconic locations on campus, capturing this special reunion moment in a series of pictures. This moment seemed to turn back time, as everyone returned to their campus life, evoking beautiful memories of school days.

Finally, all the alumni gathered in front of the large heart-shaped area surrounded by pine trees for a grand group photo. In the group photo, faces brimming with smiles formed a warm and harmonious picture, allowing the alumni to truly feel the warmth of the SHSID family.

Under the influence of the atmosphere, alumni spent a warm and unforgettable Alumni Reunion Day together. This event not only allowed everyone to relive their campus memories but also strengthened the emotional bonds among SHSID teachers, students, and alumni. It is believed that in the days to come, everyone will continue to move forward hand in hand, striving towards common dreams. SHSID is proud of you all!
