Located in the south-west corner of Shanghai, SHSID has the largest high school campus in the city. Over 50 percent of the campus is forested, covered by more than 5000 trees and seasonal flowers. The Pudong Campus is located in Zhangjiang High Tech Park (38, Huoxiang Road, Pudong New District).

The Pudong Satellite Campus (Lingang) is close to Dishui Lake (99 Ganlan Road, Nanhui New Town, Pudong New District).

The Hongkou Campus is close to the North Bund (150 Huoshan Road, Hongkou District).
