VEX Robotic Club
Robotics is not only the future, but also the present. By familiarizing students with programming, sensors, and automation, they hone critical computational thinking skills needed to succeed in both the 21st century's workforce and in everyday life. VEX Robotics, born in the United States, is a robotic project strongly supported by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and other organizations. VEX Robotics is a global robotics competition for young people. As a top international robotics event, it has been twice certified in the Guinness Book of World Records. Beyond scienceand engineering principles, VEX Robotics solutions encourage creativity, teamwork, leadership, passion, and problem-solving among groups.
VEX robots are divided into two categories: Junior and Senior according to different difficulties. VEX Junior courses are for students in grades 4 and 5, and VEX Senior courses are for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. In addition to learning this course, students will select and form teams based on their personal strengths and they will be mainly responsible for building, programming, and manipulation .In addition to learning valuable engineering skills, students’ skills in teamwork, perseverance, communication, collaboration, project management, and critical thinking will be cultivated・ Furthermore, the school will select two excellent teams to participate in VEX international competitions on behalf of the school every year according to the students’learning situation. Our school has won awards in international competitions countless times.
