Mock Trial

Founded in 2020, SHSID’s Mock Trial club seeks to foster a connection between students and the legal world. Every year, the club trains students in rules of evidence, trial strategies, and attorney/witness performance to hone their understanding of procedural justice and oral advocacy.


The club has won three national championship titles, dozens of international awards, and nearly a hundred individual honors. Each year, the club trains new students from novices to renowned competitors, persuasive public speakers, and future litigators. As a leading program in China, the club has a broad alumni and coaching network and keeps providing a platform for future advocates to grow.
