Wings Up

Wings Up is a club and school team made up of members who participate in competitive robotics events at national and global tournaments. Our primary activity is to compete in the annual First Tech Challenge. During each season, our team uses practical STEM knowledge to design and build a robot to play an exciting field game and complete the specific season challenge. We achieve this by holding weekly meetings and training sessions to learn technical skills to innovate unique solutions to competition objectives. Outside of our robotics lab, we also aim to create a meaningful impact by spreading our team culture and our passion for STEM through public events and hosting fun interactive sessions.


In 2023, in our rookie season, we qualified for nationals by placing first in both the Winning Championship Alliance and Connect Awards during the Hangzhou Qualification tournament. We also won the highest individual award and Dean’s List Award, which qualified us for the Global Championships in Houston. Moving on to the offseason, we again won the Winning Championship Alliance and Design Award.  


At the core, we love FIRST Tech Challenge and look forward to every robotics meeting. Our passion drives our success! In the new season, we are ready to continue to “soar through the sky!”.
