ECOCAP

ECOCAP, a longstanding environmental protection club at SHSID, is dedicated to raising environmental awareness through diverse activities and media initiatives. We believe that fostering environmental consciousness is the most effective way to protect our planet, empowering everyone to contribute to this vital cause. Through our Lawson Recycling program, we deploy volunteers to clean up trash and encourage fellow students to maintain a clean environment independently. Our consistent efforts have not only made Lawson and our school campus greener but also set a positive example for other students to follow. Additionally, we publish informative articles and host PA/House lectures to further educate and engage the community on pressing environmental issues.


In 2024, we are excited to launch even more impactful events. One of these is the Greenhouse Project, where we will repurpose collected plastic bottles to create a rooftop garden in the Zhong Xing Building. We will also design and distribute posters aimed at discouraging food waste in the cafeteria and at Lawson, promoting sustainable practices throughout our school community.
