Grade 9 Assembly: 2025 New Year's Resolution Announcement
On December 31, with only one day left until the arrival of a brand-new and fascinating 2025, two presenters rang the bell of the New Year. They encouraged SHSID students to plan for their futures. At the commencement, the speakers offered advice on setting reasonable goals, urging students to set up goals from a rational perspective. For instance, find a “balance between number and achievability.” This guidance meets its innumerable benefits for all the students immersed in the final preparations.
In addition to the advice on goal rationalization, the SMART plan reappeared. The presenters separated the meaning of each letter: S for Specific, M for Measurable, A for Achievable, R for Relevant, and T for Time-Bound. These five seemingly simple words and phrases represent the structure of a well-organized and meaningful plan. From meeting basic requirements to achieving more profound aspirations, the SMART format provides a clear and helpful roadmap.
Goals may often seem daunting and grand, but with proper breakdown and organization, they take on a new perspective and appear more straightforward and approachable.
May 2025 bring good fortune and academic success to all!
