SHSID High School Teachers Took Part in First Aid Training

On January 16, 2025, teachers of SHSID High School gathered in the Xianmian Building Annex Auditorium to participate in a first aid training event organized by Shanghai High School Clinic and the Shanghai Red Cross Society. The participants included all SHSID High School's homeroom teachers and grade supervisors, as well as SHSID High School Principal Mr. Ma Feng, Vice Principal Ms. Liu Min, the Assistant Principal and Director of the Students Center, Ms. Liu Qin, and the Director of the High School School Affairs Center, Ms. Gu Ying, who also attended the event to learn first aid knowledge together.

The training covered core knowledge of primary emergency care, including first aid principles, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), AED (automated external defibrillator) operation, and the Heimlich maneuver. During the training, a "hands-on practice + assessment" model was adopted, allowing teachers to undergo on-site hands-on training under professional guidance, and ensuring that each participant could proficiently master various skills.

This 3-hour training earned the teachers a first aid certificate and allowed them to quickly and effectively implement the basic first aid measures in a limited time when facing emergencies, thereby safeguarding the health and safety of students.
