Grade 9 Assembly: AI Research Club and Yuan Pei Research Program

On the morning of February 18, the students of grade nine of SHSID gathered in the Zhongxing Theatre to attend an assembly. After the host announced the day's notices, the speech began.



First, the AI Research Club (AIRC) was presented. The club is dedicated to creating a dynamic platform for students interested in artificial intelligence. The club has achieved numerous successes, earning distinctions in the National Olympiad of AI and completing multiple research projects. AIRC engages in academic presentations, paper submissions, and field studies. Looking ahead, the club plans to encourage more students to become passionate about this field and to participate in more AI competitions.


After that, the Yuan Pei Research Program was introduced. It is hosted by Peking University, offering high school students the opportunity to engage in research across various fields, including computational chemistry, physics and engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, and economics. This immersive experience is introduced to help students develop essential research skills and time management abilities.


Grade 9 students gained a lot of new information from their first assembly of the semester.
