High School Physics Department: Good News of Awards in British Physics Olympiad (BPhO)

On November 6, 2024, the "British Physics Olympiad (BPhO Round 1)" was held at the Shanghai High School International Division test center. Students from our school achieved extremely outstanding results, winning 6 Global Super Gold Awards, 10 Global Gold Awards, 5 Global Silver Awards, 7 Global Bronze Awards I, and 4 Global Bronze Awards II. Among them, six students who won the Global Super Gold Awards successfully advanced to BPhO Round 2.



Starting from 2025, the number of participants in the BPhO in the Chinese region will be strictly limited to 3,500 test seats. The first batch of seats will be open to students who participate in the British Physics Intermediate & Senior Challenge (IPC&SPC) Online in January 2025 and those who participate in the British Physics Intermediate & Senior Challenge (IPC&SPC) in March 2025 and win corresponding awards. The results of the online competition in January have also been announced, and our school students have also achieved excellent results.



Congratulations again to all the award-winning students in our school! The excellent results are inseparable from the instructors' whole-hearted teaching and rely on the profound accumulation of the competition class. Thank you to every participant for allowing us to share this honor and joy. We hope that our school students will show their elegance in international evaluations, demonstrating their extraordinary strength and the excellent educational achievements of our school. In the future journey, may everyone be able to temper themselves in challenges, grow in progress, and write a new chapter of glory.
