Pudong Campus G1: My New Semester’s Resolution

At the beginning of the new semester, the first-grade students at the Pudong Campus of Shanghai High School International Division created a new semester plan during their PG class this week to welcome the upcoming term. The new semester plan revolves around four parts: semester goals, areas of effort, books they wish to read, and knowledge they want to acquire. Based on these aspects, the students engaged in lively discussions with their groupmates. Some hoped to read more books in the new semester, some wanted to learn how to tie their shoelaces, while others aimed to improve their piano playing skills. After a variety of discussions, the students wrote their plans on the new semester planning sheets prepared by their teachers and created covers for their plans, adding colors to them. By guiding the students in making their new semester plans, the teachers hope to help them develop the habit of planning ahead and encourage the children to move forward with goals and plans in the new semester, striving to reach greater heights.
