2024 You Be The Chemist Challenge (YBTC-Qualifier Round) Awards Winners

The award winners from the You Be The Chemist (YBTC-Qualifier Round) Challenge, held both online and in YBTC exam centers on December 14th, 2024, were recently announced – we are excited to announce that our students performed at a high level and achieved excellent results.




The Chemical Educational Foundation (CEF) was founded by the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) in 1989. Its mission has been to foster an interest in and understanding of the value of careers in chemistry and other STEM fields among K-8 students through accessible science programs and hands-on experiences. CEF's You Be The Chemist Challenge is a collaborative, multilevel academic competition that celebrates the science of chemistry and elevates STEM careers.


We would like to give a special shout out to the students from our school for their outstanding performance during the YBTC. Their performance earned 8 National Team Distinction Awards and 4 National Team Qualifier Awards.


A total of 12 students have now qualified for the All-Star Science Carnival.

We extend our congratulations to all the award-winning students, as well as a big “thank you” to each participant for their effort and taking part in the competition. We intend for our students to continue to shine in various international competitions and to continue improving in the years to come!
