Grade 12 Personal Growth Course: Enhancing Safety Awareness, Guiding Students Toward University Life
As graduation approaches, SHSID seniors have begun receiving offers from their dream universities. To help students transition smoothly to university life, the school has organized a series of pre-departure lectures, where teachers share valuable insights and advice. On Feb. 25, the first lecture, focusing on "Safety Awareness in University Life," attracted a large number of students.
The lecture was delivered by one of the Personal Growth teaching staff, who addressed the challenges students might face in university and strategies to cope with them. The teacher began by discussing the pressures and emotional fluctuations students might experience while adapting to a new environment, emphasizing the importance of maintaining mental health. In the second part, the speaker focused on how to stay safe during social activities, reminding students to avoid potential risks. He encouraged students to socialize in safe environments with trusted friends.
At the end of the lecture, practical safety tips were shared, including adhering to local laws and regulations. Students were also reminded to cherish their remaining time in high school and maintain good communication with family and friends. This lecture not only prepared the students for university life but also encouraged them to make responsible decisions in their future studies and daily lives.
