Course Selection Lectures of Grade 10
On March 5, 2024, Grade 10 students attended their second course counseling session in the Xianmian Auditorium. This session was divided into two main parts. The first part was the counseling of each homeroom teachers. The homeroom teachers explained how course selection works in IBDP, AP, and A-level courses. After the lecture, the homeroom teachers also held an one-to-one Q&A session, thoroughly explaining the questions and uncertainties students encountered during the course counseling session.
The second part was the experience sharing from the juniors. Six junior students from IBDP, AP, and A-level shared to the students their most valuable information to ensure the students can more thoroughly comprehend the differences of the three courses. At the same time, the junior students also included their advice that accumulated from half a year’s learning, making the students’ academic career smoother. At the end of the sharing, the juniors also provided their most genuine blessings, hoping the students can joyfully find the course that best suits them.
This course counseling session was very helpful, with information that can aid students' selecting direction and plans. We wish all Grade 10 students a wonderful school life in the future.
