Middle and Primary School English Department:MUN Activity
At the end of February and the beginning of March, SHSID Middle School MUN students attended the Model UN (MUN) conference.
Altogether, 8 awards were won and 5 delegates became main submitters in Feb MUN. Best Delegate awards were earned by 8-4 Alex, 8-1 Dora, and 7-3 Jasmine. Outstanding Delegate awards were presented to 8-1 Sunny, 802 Claire, and 8-10 Leo. Finally, congratulations to our two Honorable Mentions, 8-11 Isabel and 8-5 Isabel. In addition, 7-3 Jasmine, 8-1 Dora, 8-1 Sunny, 8-7 Oscar, Claire and 8-10 Allison became Main Submitters.
In March MUN, 7-3 Jasmine, 8-7 Oscar, and 7-10 Miyanna won awards for eing main submitters. Congratulations to 8-5 Forrest and 8-7 Oscar for being Outstanding Delegate and Best Delegate respectively, as well as 7-3 Jasmine and 8-5 Audrey for being honorably mentioned.
MUN was a golden opportunity for the students who demonstrated proficient communication, collaboration, negotiation, and leadership skills by engaging in critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving. They took meaningful steps toward becoming informed and responsible global citizens.
