2025 SHSID Labor Week Held

March 14, 2025

On March 10, SHSID kicked off Labor Week for the 2024 academic year. During the week, students took on volunteer roles across campus, helping maintain order and cleanliness while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Volunteers reminded students to clean up and sort their trash after meals at the Lawson convenience store entrance. During busy hours, they also helped manage queues, ensuring a smooth and organized shopping experience.

Volunteers were also stationed at the school gates on Baise Road and Shangzhong Road, where they registered visitors and helped maintain campus security. Inside the Sodexo cafeteria, students worked together to wipe tables, move chairs, and collect trays and utensils, keeping the dining area clean and orderly. In Xianmian and Zhongxing Building, volunteers focused on maintaining a tidy learning environment. They reminded students to sort their waste properly and ensured that classrooms remained free of leftover food.

In this Labor Week, students were encouraged to take pride in contributing to improving their school environment. By actively participating in these tasks, they gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of everyday responsibilities and the collective effort needed to maintain a clean and organized campus. Through their service, students experienced a sense of accomplishment and developed a greater awareness of the small yet meaningful tasks that keep the school running smoothly. Moving forward, they are likely to carry this sense of responsibility with them and continue positively contributing to their campus and the wider community.
