Puxi Campus Grade 2 Chinese Oral Presentation | "Wonderful Gifts": Conveying Love and Gratitude through Words

March 14, 2025

On March 10, second-grade students of Puxi Campus held an oral presentation themed "Wonderful Gifts" during their Chinese class. The children shared stories about gifts they had received, encountered, or planned to give, showcasing their vivid expression skills and rich emotional experiences.

During the activity, students articulated clearly and spoke confidently as they stood on stage to communicate with their classmates. Some shared about special gifts from their parents on their birthdays, others recalled heartwarming exchanges with friends, and some talked about nature's beautiful offerings—a small flower or a warm ray of sunshine. Some students even expressed that the gifts they hope to give in the future include words of encouragement, acts of care, or even their own efforts and growth.

Throughout the presentations, the students not only focused on fluency but also maintained good posture, engaged with the audience through eye contact, and displayed confidence and grace. They listened attentively to their peers' sharing, offering enthusiastic applause and positive feedback, creating a warm and inspiring classroom atmosphere.

This oral presentation not only strengthened students' speaking skills but also taught them to appreciate and express gratitude through reflection and sharing. With their purest words, they conveyed the true meaning of "wonderful gifts"—the passing on of love and care. The unique presentation concluded successfully amidst warm smiles and applause.
