Grade 11 Assembly: Story about ME
On March 20, 2025, 11th-grade students at SHSID gathered in the Xianmian Auditorium for another weekly assembly. The assembly mainly featured Max from 11(10), who shared his interest in researching, swimming, and volunteering.
Delving into his explorations across robotics, biology, and chemistry, he emphasized essential soft skills such as time management and systematic thinking, offering peers practical strategies to navigate academic pursuits. As a dedicated swimmer with 12 years of experience, Max illustrated how the sport cultivates physical endurance and mental resilience, framing it as a stress-relieving practice. Summarizing from his experiences, Max inspired his peers to become curious, disciplined, and resilient in the face of incoming challenges in high school life. The assembly concluded with Sunny, student organizer of the San Ye Cao Volunteering Group, delivering a compelling promotion for the program. Highlighting its dual benefits, Sunny emphasized that consistent participation earns students service hours and brings fulfillment through servicing those in need.
The assembly bridged personal growth with collective responsibility, showcasing how individual passions—from scientific inquiry to athletic rigor—can intertwine with civic engagement.
