Lin’gang Grade 3:Sowing for hope in Spring
As spring warms and flowers bloom, SHSID Lin’gang Grade 3 also welcomed an interesting "Springtime Sowing" activity. On Thursday's PG class, children not only learned about environmental protection but also personally buried the seeds of hope in the soil, putting their green promises into action.
At the beginning of the class, Mr. Alex used vivid animations and interactive questions to explain "The Relationship Between Seeds and the Earth" to the students. He explained the importance of the environment to human survival. The students listened with great interest and expressed their willingness to start from small things around them and contribute their own strength to Earth.
Then, Mr. Alex led the students to the "Sky Garden" on the third floor of the school. There, the sun was shining brightly and the air was fresh, making it the perfect place for sowing. The students excitedly gathered around the garden, waiting for the teacher to distribute the seeds.
For this sowing activity, the teacher prepared blind bags of seeds for everyone. No one knew what kind of seeds they would get, which added more fun and anticipation to the activity. The children worked in groups of three, dividing the work and cooperating. They patiently dug the soil, compacted it, and carefully buried the seeds in the soil. They said they would come to take care of these seeds regularly, looking forward to vigorous growth, blooming into beautiful flowers, and bearing rich fruits.
This sowing activity in the PG class not only allowed the students to experience the joy of labor but also made them deeply understand the importance of environmental protection. In this spring, what we have sown is not only seeds but also hope for the future.
