Lin’gang Campus G3: Traditional Skills Enter Campus-the Diabolo with Vitality
In the gymnasium of SHSID Lin’gang, the "buzzing" sound of the diabolos filled the air. Under the guidance of Teacher Zhu, the children of Class 3-2 experienced a unique traditional sports class - diabolo. This was not only a physical exercise but also a transmission of traditional culture.
Teacher Zhu first introduced the history and cultural background of diabolo to the students, allowing them to understand that it is a traditional game with a long history. The children listened with great interest and were full of anticipation for the practical session. Look, Teacher Zhu is demonstrating the basic skills of playing diabolo. The diabolo, following the movement of his wrist, draws beautiful arcs in the air, and the gymnasium is filled with continuous applause.
Subsequently, the students began to practice. At first, many people's diabolos fell to the ground as soon as they left their hands, but after repeated attempts, the buzzing sounds gradually flew in the stadium. William from Class 3-2 stood out particularly. Not only did he quickly master the basic whirling techniques, but he also voluntarily served as a "little assistant". "Pull the rope straight and turn your wrist like this," he actively helped Teacher Fu, patiently explaining. The diabolo in his hands was like a dancing fairy.
At this moment, the setting sun shone on the smiling faces. In those rotating shadows, the pulse of cultural inheritance was clearly beating. The small diabolo was brimming with vitality.
