Pudong Campus Grade 1 - Tea Party

On March 20, the first-grade classrooms at Shanghai High School International Division’s Pudong Campus were filled with laughter and excitement as a unique "Tea Party" took place.

To foster a love for reading, the first-grade teachers carefully organized this event. Children were encouraged to dress up as their favorite book characters and bring snacks to enjoy while sharing the joy of reading in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

On the day of the event, the classrooms transformed into a fairy-tale world: Harry Potter, Nezha, Ao Bing… The children, embodying their beloved characters, eagerly introduced their favorite books and figures. Sitting together, they enjoyed tasty treats while exchanging reading experiences, filling the room with the warmth of literature and happiness.

This activity not only sparked the children’s interest in reading but also enhanced their communication skills and imagination. This special "tea party" will surely become a cherished childhood memory and plant the seeds of a lifelong love for reading in their hearts.
