Grade 9 Assembly：SciLab's Journey & Debate Team's Glorious Win

On April 1, all ninth-grade teachers and students gathered for a grade-level assembly. At the beginning of the event, the host briefly outlined important recent announcements. Subsequently, members of the SciLab club delivered an engaging presentation, showcasing their fruitful achievements in scientific innovation training, academic paper writing, and experimental design through detailed case studies. The speakers shared their personal experiences, highlighting how these activities enhanced their critical thinking and practical skills. They enthusiastically invited new students to join the club to foster personal growth through scientific exploration.




Next, a school debate team member took the stage, reflecting deeply on their unforgettable experience competing in the World Chinese Debating Championship during the winter break. The speaker vividly described the intense preparation process—racing against time and enduring rigorous training—and the audience erupted in applause when they mentioned how the team ultimately emerged as champions. What resonated even more was how this journey led the speaker to a profound understanding of the essence of Chinese debate and its significance in personal development, truly grasping "what Chinese debate means" and "why I engage in it." This thought-provoking presentation brought the assembly to a meaningful close.
