Grade 11 Assembly: How to be More Productive
On April 3, the 11th graders at SHSID held their weekly assembly. During the assembly, Lucas from class 11-2 shared how he maintained balanced while taking the rigorous IB curriculum, advising students to be more productive in both work and play.
Regarding schoolwork, Lucas pointed out that not procrastinating, listening carefully in class, and avoiding over-reliance on AI are three strategies that help students maximize their learning time. For recreation, Lucas stated that students should be more selective about their relaxation methods to find happiness. He presented his own alternatives for recreation: going out with friends, engaging in charity activities, and creating his own mini games.
The G11 students were inspired by Lucas’s unique perspectives on work and play, prompting them to re-examine their work-play routines. As the assembly concluded, the school day began, and they returned to their classes with additional insight into maintaining work-life balance in their junior year of high school.
