Dodgeball Tournament in Grade 6: Youth Shines Beyond Victory
As the weather warms up, the Puxi campus welcomed a lively and passionate spring afternoon. This Thursday, during the youth development class, the sixth-grade students held their most anticipated physical activity: a dodgeball tournament.
The atmosphere at the venue was exceptionally enthusiastic, with cheers from classmates on the sidelines rising and falling to cheer for their respective classes. The attacking side's feints and the defenders' nimble dodges brought bursts of exclamations from the audience. Whenever a powerful ball cut through the air in a perfect arc, accurately hitting its target, the entire playground erupted into a rainbow of cheers—a unique sound wave of youth. Even those who were unfortunately hit, though carrying some regret in their hearts, did not let it get them down. Instead, they quickly moved to the outer field area of the opposing team, looking for opportunities to counterattack. Whether inside or outside the field, every student contributed to the team in their own way.
Through intense one-on-one matches, twelve classes selected six winning classes to enter the semi-finals, ultimately deciding the top three teams: Class 6-1, Class 6-6, and Class 6-11
This dodgeball tournament not only provided a platform for students to showcase themselves and exercise their bodies but also strengthened friendships and teamwork spirit among the classmates. Regardless of whether they were participants or cheerleaders, everyone's hearts were closely connected. When the final whistle blew, what remained in everyone's heart was not just the championship title, but the warmth of growing together and the indelible imprint of youth.
