Grade 9 Assembly：Getting to Know the Musical "Hamilton"

On April 30, 2025, the grade 9 students of SHSID gathered at the B1 theater for another assembly.



As the bell struck at 8:15, the iconic intro of “Alexander Hamilton” from Hamilton the musical captured the attention of the chattering students.


Then came the surprise: scattered among the audience, members of the school’s Out Musical Club—previously unnoticed—rose from their seats and began weaving through the aisles. Initially sitting within the audience, the students from the school’s out musical club walk down the stairs onto the stage while performing a short section of the song.



This unexpected performance was a thrilling preview for the upcoming Hamilton production, entirely organized and performed by the 9th Grade Musical Club, set on June 6. After the energetic musical teaser, the club members took a moment to introduce their show, sharing details about the performance and inviting students to join as stage crew volunteers. The audience was so excited for the big play coming in June after this assembly.
