SHSID Children's Choir Won the First Prize in the 8th National Art Exhibition for Primary and Middle School Students- Shanghai Region

At the end of the recently finished Shanghai Vocal Chorus Performance of the Eighth National Art Exhibition for Primary and Middle School Students, our school's Children's Choir performed two works with distinct styles: the English new piece "Under Winter Moon" and the Yunnan folk song "The Sun Has Come Out” and won the first prize in the Primary School Choir category. Among the two works, the former features the interplay between human voices, piano and string accompaniment, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere, while the latter highlights the ethnic flavor through a lively rhythm, with bright and transparent tones interwoven with full and sincere emotions, fully demonstrating the creativity and strength of the choir as well as the high-level artistic accomplishment of our students.

The journey of art has no end — may our students continue to refine their craft, nurture their inner world, and grow through every performance.
