Puxi Campus G1 | “New Parents” Show Love and Successfully Protect the Eggs

December 21, 2023

The Egg Protection Activity for Grade 1 students arrived! Children became “new parents” for one week, carefully taking care of their “egg babies”.

To welcome their “egg baby,” every responsible “parent” built a comfortable nest. The "egg parents" did everything they could to ensure that the "egg babies" had a safe place to sleep. On Monday, once the “egg parents” received their “egg baby” from the teachers, the “parents” became cautious and careful, avoiding accidentally bumping into their “egg baby.”

To take care of their “egg babies,” the “egg prarents” read them books and shared their favorite stories. The “egg baby” also supervised their “parents” as they did their homework. After learning, it was time for interest cultivation. Some “egg babies” immersed in the music with their “parents,” some played chess with their “parents,” and some played badminton and rode bicycles with their “parents.” After nightfall, the “egg parents” brushed their “egg baby’s” teeth, carefully wiping the egg surface with a brush, as if teaching the “egg baby” how to maintain good oral hygiene. Each "parent" carefully protected the "baby eggs" with great care.

One week later, it was good to see many “egg babies” survived. Responsible “egg parents” also received a certificate of honor and a reward of fun eggs. The “egg parents” are also using clips they learned in Computer Science Class to make an egg diary. So let’s look forward to their next interesting project!

Through this activity, the children fully demonstrated a sense of responsibility and compassion. They carefully designed the egg nests and took care of their “egg babies,” working hard to ensure that the eggs had a safe and happy week. This activity was not only a fun and surprising journey, but also allowed the children to experience how difficult it is for their parents to take care of them. We believe all of them have learned how to care for and respect life.
