Puxi Grade 3: Reading of Andersen's Fairy Tales

November 24, 2022

In the past two weeks, the third-grade students in Puxi Campus picked up the book "Andersen's Fairy Tales", with the opportunity to learn the "Fairy Tale" unit. Students greatly enjoyed themselves and traveled in the world of fairy tales, with the goal of completing six fairy tale readings and a one-page reading report every week.

In class, the students sorted out the context of the story together, exchanged their views on the characters in the book, and shared their thoughts and feelings after reading. After class, they carefully read the text, patiently excerpted the words and sentences, and calmed down to complete each reading report page. When the students reached a certain reading amount, some of them independently summed up the writing structures common in fairy tales, and some students began to spontaneously compare the similarities and differences between Chinese fables and foreign fairy tales.

A little reading can give a glimpse of the big world. In the vast world of fairy tales, there is still an abundance of rich and colorful content waiting for everyone to explore, feel and experience.
