Grade 11: Assembly - Viboholics Club
During an assembly on October 20, Ryan Ge from class 11(3) promoted his music club, Vibaholics, to the grade.
He first introduced his club members to the grade, which is composed of passionate students dedicated to music and art. Throughout the whole speech, Ryan devotedly talked about the talented students in the club, and what they are doing in a relaxing way, showing that they are not just coworkers but a group of friends that communicate through music. Nonetheless, their club remains professional as they plan through their projects, decide on instrumentals used, mix recordings, and so on. To further present his club, Ryan advertised the club's new mixtape that was published on music platforms during the October break.
Finally, he called for the recruitment of music lovers, especially the ones dedicated to jazz. The simplicity conveyed Ryan’s goal of not just producing high-quality songs but also finding friends who are truly eager about music. Just when everyone started whispering about the club and the newly released album, Ryan ended his presentation by playing the mixtape. The auditorium fell silent as melodic voices filled every corner of the room. The usually chaotic crowd of students stopped their chit-chatting and focused on the song. Perhaps this was what Ryan was trying to promote, the magic of this club: the calmness and excitement one feel when she hear the familiar and amicable voices of her friendly classmates she call family. High school is not just about academics, but also about finding one's true devotion.
