SHSID Student Won the Silver Medal at the 34th International Olympiad in Informatics

Andy van Horssen from the class of 2022 won the silver medal at the 34th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2022) on August 14th. Among over 350 outstanding global contestants, Andy achieved the remarkable award after a 10-hour test over two days.

Andy was one of the graduates who studied at SHSID from 1st grade through 12th. This coming fall, he will be studying towards a bachelor of science degree in mathematics & computer science at St John's College, University of Oxford, with one of the most selective and competitive admission rates among undergraduate students.
