Puxi Grade 2: Find “Pi” Objects in Real Life, Have Fun in Math!

Week 3 of the spring semester is “SHSID Mathematics Week”. Puxi second grade has carried out a variety of online and offline activities. Let's take a look at children’s amazing math work during last week!

Grade 2 students completed a Pi Hunt poster during Math Week. According to the requirements, students needed to find 10 round objects and take photos of them with their iPad to make posters. Some of students thought it was very difficult to find 10 different objects, but when they begin to search, the children discovered that many indispensable practical tools in life are round! Grade 2 students discovered the ubiquitous nature of mathematics in their life and presented their findings in the poster.

This semester’s “Mathematics Week” has come to a successful end. Students have used their brushes and unlimited imagination to complete a creation that combines mathematics, art and life!
