Puxi Grades 1-3: Fond Memories from SHSID Primary Section’s Art Festival

December 20, 2019

As the Christmas season is upon us, once again it is time for our annual art festival.

Both students and teachers spent several months preparing for the festival. We are very proud of the time and effort that our students have put into the upcoming show and we were all very excited for December 20th to come around.

In the morning of the art festival, all our primary students from Grade 1 to 3 came into their classrooms with joy and excitement in their hearts. Also, many of their parent volunteers helped a lot for the performances. The five student hosts were fantastic throughout the event. They are Irina, George, Ethan, Olivia and Daniel. They showed great confidence and elegance on the stage. Every class and student group gave an exceptional performance, especially the hip-hop boys dancing group and the schoolgirls dancing group. The grade 1 & 2 school dancing group girls danced brilliantly and the boys in school hip-hop dancing club treat us to their Ninja dance! These little dancers could all be professional dancers!

The show just kept getting better and better and culminated with an appearance from Santa! Santa Clause brought some lucky students gifts. When the luck boys and girls came up on the stage to receive a surprise gift from Santa, everyone applauded and cheered for them. Every student was so excited to see the Santa! Some of our primary teachers also gave a performance for our students to enjoy.

The annual Art Festival for Primary Section SHSID is always one of all the students’ favorite activities every year. It will definitely become a cherished memory for every student here at SHSID.
