Grade 5: Sweet Reading Time

Though it’s already December, the fifth graders still constantly think about the reading month that has just passed. Throughout November, the fifth graders read a lot of Chinese and English books, and the weekly reading time exceeded 150 minutes. Every student was immersed in a sea of books and enjoyed the experience very much.

Although reading month has ended, the students have maintained their good reading habits. In order to reward the students for their efforts in the past month, the foreign teachers organized a “sweet reading time” event during English reading time on December 5. The students brought a variety of sweets, cupcakes and fruits to share with each other. Being able to taste delicious desserts while reading, the students’ smiles were filled with infinite satisfaction!
