Grade 10: Poster Competition
At the beginning of the new semester, students were moved to SHSID's newly completed ZhenTao building. Each classroom contains a high-tech whiteboard, brand-new tables and chairs, as well as a poster wall.
This month's poster board theme was time management, and it provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their artistic talents and thoughts on the subject. Teachers hope that by setting the theme of time management at the beginning of the school year, students will begin to realize the importance of learning to organize their time and improve the efficiency, as well as quality of their work. After all, developing good habits now will be of great help to students’ study life for the academic year and their future studies. After several weeks of careful preparation by students, each classroom is now decorated with posters of different styles. The unique posters include a variety of time inspired patterns, famous quotes about time management, tips on time keeping, and many other creative elements.
These posters not only bring together the ideas of the students, but also add color to the new teaching building. Finally, after each class’s volunteers rated each other’s posters, class 10 (8) was announced as having the best design. In the end, it is small projects like this that will enable students to better understand time management and apply it to their own lives to create a brighter future for themselves and for their peers.
