History Department: SHSID students won the championship of Shanghai International History Bee and Bowl competition

On Saturday, May 11th, a total of 8 SHSID students competed in the Shanghai International History Bee and Bowl competition, in which the students are asked to recall answers to questions ranging across all of human history and from all around the world. To do well in this competition, one must know it all. And our team dominated. The Grades 9/10 team consisting of Ethan Wang, Qiohan Du, Calvin Pan, and Felix Qin won their team competition with a perfect 6-0 record and, in one round, a nearly perfect score! In addition, both Calvin and Felix won the individual competition in their respective age groups.

By doing so well in the Shanghai competition, this team of students has qualified for the Asian Championships in Phuket, Thailand next month. Congratulations to our dominant History team!!!
