Puxi Grade 5: The Interesting Science Project
The fifth grade science teacher assigned a very interesting project: we could use any materials to assemble together the three different kinds of clouds. The fun part was that it had to be 3D. Even though the three different kinds of clouds are similar, they still have their own specialties. There are stratus clouds, which are like large blankets covering the sky. There are cumulus clouds, which are like giant cotton candies all over the sky. Lastly, there are cirrus clouds, which are like wispy feathers flying in the air.
To complete this assignment, students had to open up their creativity and show their special powers. As the due date was coming up, more and more beautiful projects appeared. Some were as big as a table and some were only the size of an A3 paper. Some had white clouds, some had colorful clouds, some used thin strings to hold the clouds steadily, and some used glue to staple the clouds on cardboard. Students were very detailed—they even presented grass and flowers in 3D forms! When we arrived at school on those days, we were most excited to see the amazing models, and we rejoiced. We learnt a lot of knowledge from this fun project!
