Puxi Grade 1:H.E.R.O.E.S Character Education Begins with Honesty

This semester, all Grade One students started “H.E.R.O.E.S” Character Education, an acronym meaning honesty, encouragement, respect, organization, excellence and sharing.

During the PG class on February 27th, Grade One students started learning about honesty. The teachers first explained what honesty means and why we must be honest by telling many meaningful stories.

The first-grade teachers will spend the next month focusing on all of these good characteristics and personality traits that a student is expected to represent. Hopefully, every first grader may be more mature and positive in all aspects of their first year at school.
