A few years ago, you chose to study at SHSID. SHSID has cherished your trust and continuously stayed true to the school mission of “contributing to the personal and lifelong development of every student”. As the saying goes, “you reap what you sow”, and your efforts have been essential to both your personal success and the overall enrichment of our school. Similarly, the efforts of your family, your teachers, and every other member of SHSID have supported your today's success.

It is YOU who prove SHSID’s success in advocating for the spirit of “always climbing the next peak, always striving to be number one”. It is YOU who represent the brightest achievements of SHSID alumni, and it is YOU who have received offers from a variety of No.1 ranked institutions around the world, from Princeton University, Williams College, and MIT in the United States to the University of Cambridge in the UK and the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), etc.

Furthermore, we are proud to have passionate students who have gained admission to many specialized and notable institutions, such as the Rhode Island School of Design, Central Saint Martins, the University of the Arts London, and Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland, among others. Most importantly, we are confident and proud that everyone of you will carry the SHSID mission and ethos to the institutions you will attend around the world, and we look forward to hearing of your varied contributions to society.

It is also YOU, like our SHSID Stallions basketball athletes, who have filled this big family with a united and positive energy!

It’s said that “when the going gets tough, the tough get going,” and over the last 26 years, SHSID has certainly proved to be capable of meeting the many challenges both students and faculty have encountered. The school not only continues to cultivate our students individually, but also invites them to join a proud tradition by giving them the opportunity to carry on our mission and ideals through their studies here. Most importantly, every student has a chance to shine in SHSID. We are proud to see that the SHSID standard is increasingly recognized, as this year’s admissions results signal that institutions around the world are aware that SHSID students bring both unique talents and strong character to the communities they join.

In this fast-paced, rapidly changing modern era, learning is a never-ending journey. SHSID sincerely wishes you luck as you move onto the next stage of your life, and we anticipate that you will fulfill both your personal dreams and your potential as a member of the global community. We trust that you will continue the process of becoming the best version of yourself and advancing the mission of building a better future for all beings.
