SHSID Attended the 3rd Oxford GlobalMUN-SFLS Model United Nations Conference

On December 17th, 24 SHSID students attended the third session of Oxford International Model United Nations at Shanghai Foreign Language School. Representing nations ranging from the Uruguay, and Cameroon to the United States, delegates accurately represented their different country stances, delivered cohesive solutions and performed exceptionally among 470 student representatives from 50 high schools. Overall, SHSID yielded 5 best delegate awards and one best delegation after four days of extensive debate and deliberation in respective committees including World Health Organization, Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee, Economic and Financial Affairs Council, United Nations Environment Programme and etc. Aside from their literal awards, delegates also learned invaluable diplomacy, research and cooperation skills and cannot wait for future conferences to come.
