Pudong Grade 5 : Spring Field Trip to Shanghai Chen Shan Botanical Garden

Students at the Pudong campus had a field trip on March. 24th. They went to Shanghai Chen Shan Botanical Garden, big and beautiful park.

Shanghai Chen Shan Botanical Garden is located in the Chen Shan Area of Song Jiang District, Shanghai. It is also one of the Plant Science Research Centers of the Chinese Academy of Science.

On that morning, as soon as the students arrived at school, they were very excited and looking forward to the whole-day trip. They talked with happy smiles on their faces. “Today’s trip will certainly be a wonderful experience,” one of the students said to her friend.

At 8:30 a.m., all the fifth graders got on the school bus. After arriving there, every student was attracted to the wonderful natural environment of the botanical garden.

They visited three main green houses of the Shanghai Chen Shan Botanical Garden and ate delicious lunch prepared by parents together with their friends.

That sunny day, everybody had a good time and learned a lot of brand-new knowledge of plant!

The field trip not only gave students an unforgettable experience but also enhanced the friendships with classmates. All the students are looking forward to the next field trip！
