Good News of College Acceptance Results of Class of 2016 (Arts and Hotel Management)

With the release of the college acceptance data, we also heard the good news from The University of Tokyo this morning. In addition, the outstanding performance of Class of 2016 in other fields is also collected. We would like to not only share the good news, but also invite you to appreciate some of SHSIDers’ works.

• Arts

Pratt Institute, which is an Applied Art School enjoying a high reputation in the United States for its Architecture Major, admitted two SHSID students.

Parsons The New School for Design, one of the most famous fashion design school in the States, sent offer letters to two SHSIDers.

The architecture school and arts school from top universities, such as University of Southern California and University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, as well as other top arts colleges also posted offer letters to Class of 2016, including University of Arts London, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, California Institute of the Arts, Maryland Institute College of Art, Savannah College of Art and Design, School of Visual Art, Cleveland Institute of Art, etc.

The Tisch School of the Arts of New York University has cultivated a large number of prominent directors and actors, including Mr. Ang Lee, the twice winner of Academy Award for Best Director, and its admission rate is lower than 5%. A Japanese student from SHSID was admitted to Tisch.

• Hotel Management

The Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the oldest as well as the No. 1 hotel management school in the world, admitted three students from Class of 2016.
