Pu Xi Grade 2: Happy Dr. Seuss Week

March 16thto March 20th, the 4thweek of the semester, was Dr. Seuss Week for primary school, and was held to celebrate the amazing children's author’s birthday. Throughout the whole week, the students and the teachers together enjoyed a variety of activities and had a lot of fun!

Monday was Mix-Up Day. The students presented a big fashion show by wearing their T-shirts backwards, wearing their clothes inside out, or wearing skirts as cloaks. On this first day of Dr. Seuss Week, the teachers introduced Dr. Seuss and read stories to the students.

Tuesday was Top Hat Day. Different kinds of hats were worn together, making the primary school a sea of hats. Some students made their own crazy hats with a lot of creativity, which was amazing!

On Wednesday, a lot of children wore funky socks to celebrate Wacky Sock Day. Some girls wore colorful tights, while some boys wore mismatched socks to show creativity. The students sat happily together and the teachers took a photo of all the socks. It was very cool.

Thursday was Twin Day. The students were very excited to dress the same as their friends. On that day, the students also watched the Lorax Movie, from which they further learned the importance of protecting our environment.

Friday was the last day of Dr. Seuss Week and it was Book Character Day. The students dressed like characters from Dr. Seuss books in remembrance of Dr. Seuss.

Dr. Seuss Week had an end, but the students will keep enjoying the laughter and happiness brought by Dr. Seuss.
