Halloween Activities in Grade 1

Oct, 31, 2014 is the traditional Western festival Halloween. Halloween is especially popular among children. On that day, all the first grade teachers prepared many fabulous Halloween activities for the first graders.

Best Costumes

Every child was dressed up very creatively. Apart from recognizable character costumes such as pumpkins, witches and wizards, many students designed really attractive costumes. One student even wore the Minion Costume hand-made by his grandmother and mother! This student told everybody with great pride that his Minion Costume was totally hand-made by his family. Later that afternoon, every class selected several “Best Costume Winners”. Every student was so cheerful and proud of their own costume.

Halloween Games Are So Fun

On Halloween, every teacher has prepared games for the first graders. Some teachers showed Halloween movies. Some teachers made a “Gross Box” game. Some teachers taught the students how to sing Halloween songs and everybody danced! All of the students enjoyed the games.

Halloween Parade

Right after lunch, all the first graders went on a costume parade around the campus. All of the passer-bys on campus were impressed. Many of them even took pictures. The students also had great fun playing on the grassland on campus.

Although happy time always flies, every first grade student has good memories of Halloween at SHSID.
