Grade 12 Graduation Ceremony

On June 8th, 2014, the graduation ceremony for The Class of 2014 was held at the school auditorium. The auditorium was especially decorated for the occasion.

Attendants of this graduation ceremony included the Principal, Mr. FengZhigang, High School Principal Mr. Ma Feng, Middle School and Primary School Principal Mr. Liu Lian, and Senior High School Director Ms, Liu Qin. Around 8 o'clock, guided by volunteers, parents entered the auditorium. The whole auditorium was full. The photos of Class 2014 were shown on the screen. With Ms. Liu's official announcement of the opening of the graduation ceremony, all the graduates, wearing the graduation gowns, came into the auditorium, surrounded by the applause from all parents and teachers.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the school orchestra played for everyone. When the march was over, everyone saluted the graduates in the orchestra for their last performance in the SHSID orchestra. Next, Principal Feng delivered a speech to review all the achievements made by students from the Class of 2014. He also sent his best wishes to all graduates. Afterwards, students came onto the stage to be awarded their diploma by both Principals and the Director. Students were very excited and they also understood the meaning of this diploma --- they have all grown up. Adam Zhang, Tiffany Zhong, student representatives, and Michael Li's mother, delivered speeches to send their best wishes to all students. A wide range of awards were also announced at the graduation ceremony, including Awards for Excellence in Sports, Awards for Good Behaviour, Awards for Social Activities, Awards for Rapid Progress, Awards for Good Study and Awards for Excellent Study. Principal Feng awarded the Gold Prize to Adam Zhang.

By the end of the graduation ceremony, representatives presented the school with a graduation gift.

The music, "I'll Remember You," was played. All graduates stood up and sang the song to recall all their best memories at SHSID and showed their gratitude to the teachers, parents, and their friends. With Ms. Liu's words of "Happy graduation! Good luck," all graduation hats were tossed highly into the air.
