Grade 9: Show Your Talent in the Art Festival

On December 19, 2013, grades 9 and 10 students had the annual art festival. It was the perfect time for students to show their talents on the stage. Many grade 9 students were excited and entered their names in the festival. You could see them rehearsing in the hallway as far back as one month before the festival.

The student was in the final rehearsal at the back stage.

In the show, grade 9 students performed 15 programs, including songs, dances, musical dramas, and orchestras. They performed not only pop songs and hot dances but also programs exhibiting traditional culture and art. There were Korean drum performances, Chinese dulcimer melodies, and modern Japanese dance, imbuing the festival with an international flavor. All the brilliant performances were enthusiastically cheered.

The stage lights also attracted teachers -- who usually wear a poker face in the classroom -- to join in on the fun. They even put on wigs, sunglasses, and costumes to give a performance as Lady Gaga. Students were amused by such a scene and burst out in laughter.

Suddenly there came a distinguished but unexpected “guest” -- Santa! It turned out to be Director Chen, who had on a fake beard and lugged around a bag of candy gifts for the audience. Santa Chen brought the show to its climax.

This year, the show left a strong impression on all the people who enjoyed it.
