The Art Festival Of High School

On December 18, 2013, the high school art festival was held in the big auditorium. Through two weeks of auditions, all the performances were carefully redesigned and perfected, and in the end 22 programs were performed on stage at the art festival. The performers hope that everyone enjoyed their programs.

At 1:00 pm, the grade 12 band started this year’s arts festival. Their performance warmed up the atmosphere instantly. The third performance was the dance group "BaBaBa." They provided us with a very interesting performance that got the audience immersed in a happy atmosphere. The lighting effects this year also gave the audience a joyful experience. A variety of alternating colored lights made some dances more vibrant and lively, warm lighting made the Christmas songs more peaceful, and bright lights made the trumpet solo more solemn. Halo karaoke champion Lee Chau pushed the art festival into the next peak. The audience crowded around the stage, using their cameras and cell phones to record her performance. After that, many students gathered in front of the stage to watch a succession of performances: group dancing by foreign teachers, drama skits from the drama club, and group dancing by two IB classes. Finally, the grade 11 band brought a perfect ending. Their brilliant performances made the audience ask for an encore again and again. Then, when everyone thought it was the end of the art festival, the biggest surprise appeared. The Vice Chief Director of the International Division and director of the senior high school Mr. Ma Feng brought everyone a wonderful performance, singing "Zai Hui Shou," which brought the audience to a boil. Almost the entire audience was standing at the front of the stage taking pictures. Everyone enjoyed this surprise from the director. That became the most popular performance of the day.

With the director's beautiful singing, this year’s art festival came to an end. See you next year!
