Pudong G1: Eggs Protection

This week the first grade had an egg-protection activity. Teachers prepared materials such as plastic cups, scrap paper, and tape. Students not only needed to make a home for their egg babies, but also think about how to make them safer. They needed to protect an egg as their baby like parents do. They had to bring the egg to school and take it home every day. However, some kids forgot to bring their egg babies to school or home and even broke them. Some kids also cried for not taking good care of their egg babies. In Friday’s Personal Growth class, the owners of the unbroken eggs were chosen as the winners, and they felt really happy and proud of themselves when they got praising notes from teachers. The aim of this activity was to help the students to understand how hard their parents work to take care of them. They should care for others and have a sense of responsibility.
